This week, I’m launching a series of informal, community-focused conversations called: Coffee-Time Chats.
It’s a project I’ve been aiming to start for a while because I just want to do social media networking differently – the way I enjoy doing it!
⚡ Face to face.
⚡ Quality not quantity.
⚡ One conversation at a time.
Call me old-school! But I need LIVE human exchange to feel connected.
Coffee-Time Chats are as much about socialising in real time, connecting with others and building community, as learning from all the highly skilled and talented people around us in our networks. Do we really do that enough?
All too often, our valuable professional connections remain just a thumbnail on our LinkedIn profile – invite and accept. But on both a human and business level, these relationships should mean more than a split-second smash & grab off a sushi conveyor belt.
Without the satisfaction of digesting.
What about the quality?
After all, we have the opportunity learn something and benefit from every single interaction we engage in.
I know I’d rather spend my limited free time having one uplifting, inspiring conversation than scrolling through my phone for 10 random potential connections, who I’m likely to forget within minutes. Or even seconds.
Coffee-Time Chats aim to put a traditional twist to social media networking back on the map. Yes, holding fewer conversations – but meaningful ones that build the basis for strong relationships.
It’s also about stepping out of the comfort zone and meeting new faces in person, whether live or online in real-time.
The chats will be posted on LinkedIn to share all new connections and insights.
It’s a chance for you to take a quick timeout over a coffee and let yourself be inspired by someone else’s work-life experiences.
As a Coffee-Time Chat guest, you naturally get to talk about your services and career aspirations, as well as anything you would like to communicate to reach a wider audience.
Get in touch.
If you – or anyone you know – would like to share your story and motivate others with what you do professionally or personally to get the most out of life, simply message me at Freeflow Coaching or on LinkedIn to arrange a chat. I’d love to hear from you.
Have a brilliant start to the week!
